A little about what Bipolar is...
Most people experience different moods with ups and downs, highs and lows. When these become so extreme that they interfere with ordinary everyday activities this can cause people to behave in uncharacteristic ways. This is called Bipolar Affective Disorder.
The extreme highs and lows that people experience not only affect their feelings, but their thoughts and behaviour. However, between mood swings people with a diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder will feel and behave just like anyone else with the ordinary ups and downs that anyone can experience.
